A pre-emptive strike?

Sometimes, my punnery surpasses itself.

First class photo journalism.

According to 'Mr. Grumpy', a 'police medic' gets 'an enhanced first aid at work certificate and their remit is just to do enough to get the casualty (either officer or civilian) out of the PO situation and to an ambulance.' Right lads, this one's caught in the middle of a surly-looking protest. We'd best get him out of there quick! Out of my way while I whack him repeatedly over the head with my baton! That'll do the trick! Um, no.

Incidentally, Charlie Brooker will be using this in the next edition of Newswipe. That'll be Twitter again, keeping us all (over) informed.
