Season overview: 'Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles' year two

Well, now that the second season of the terminally troubled Sarah Connor Chronicles has finished its run, it's time to look back over the reviews I've cobbled together this year and play with some lovely numerical figures in order to derive some even lovelier averages. What fun.

Ratings for all season two episodes:

201: 'Samson and Delilah': 9.0
202: 'Automatic for the People': 8.2
203: 'The Mousetrap': 8.5
204: 'Allison from Palmdale': 7.2
205: 'Goodbye To All That': 8.5
206: 'The Tower is Tall, but the Fall is Short': 6.5
207: 'Brothers of Nablus': 4.1
208: 'Mr. Ferguson Is Ill Today': 8.7
209: 'Complications': 8.3
210: 'Strange Things Happen at the One-Two Point': 7.6
211: 'Self-Made Man': 5.0
212: 'Alpine Fields': 8.5
213: 'Earthlings Welcome Here': 4.7
214: 'The Good Wound': 4.5
215: 'Desert Cantos': 5.3
216: 'Some Must Watch, While Some Must Sleep': 4.7
217: 'Ourselves, Alone': 5.4
218: 'Today Is The Day' (1/2): 7.5
219: 'Last Voyage of the Jimmy Carter' (2/2): 7.5
220: 'To the Lighthouse': 5.6
221: 'Adam Raised a Cain': 6.6
222: 'Born To Run': 7.8

Oh dear, eh? There's a rather depressing number of 4s and 5s around the season mid-point there. So, what does season 2 of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles average out at?:

Drum roll please...

6.8

Hardly inspiring, eh?

Best episode:
201: 'Samson and Delilah', scoring an impressive 9.0
Worst episode:
207: 'Brothers of Nablus', scoring a dismal 4.1

Best moment: Derek's completely unexpected and utterly callous death in 221, 'Adam Raised A Cain'

Worst moment:
The excruciatingly awful 'Donald, Where's Your Trousers?' montage sequence, also in 221: 'Adam Raised A Cain'. Brought the overall score for the episode down by two whole points that.

Oh well. Here's Thomas Dekker shirtless again to brighten the mood.
